Welcome to Knights of Columbus
Christ The King Council 4114
The Knights of Columbus was founded by Fr. Michael J. McGivney and parishioners from St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, Connecticut in 1882. The Knights were founded as a fraternal benefit society, based on the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism.
From humble beginnings, the Order has grown to nearly 16,000 Councils and almost 2 million members worldwide. In 2017, the Knights made over $185 million in charitable donations, and volunteered more than 75 million hours of service. All while providing a stable, top-rated life insurance program for members and their families, per Fr. McGivney’s vision of helping to provide for the family of deceased members.
Council 4114 was chartered on November 2, 1955 , and serves Holy Family, St.Cecilia/Our Lady of Peace, St.Charles/St. Ann’s and St.Joseph’s parish. If you’re interested in joining, send us a message, or talk to a member at our next event!
